Daily Activities

In addition to providing child care services, we also feature early childhood education during the morning hours. We feel that our educational program, which is designed to maximize learning opportunities at each child's level, is an exceptional component of the center.

Children need active and quiet times, large and small groups, individual activities and structured as well as unstructured times. To meet these needs, we group children with others who are in the same age group and have similar needs; but, there are similar basic components of each group. These components are:

Mornings

Arrival Time
Breakfast
Story Time
Early Childhood Development/Educational Activities
Outdoor/Indoor Activities

Afternoon

Lunch
Choice Time (children choose among different activities within the center)
Snack Time
Rest/Nap Time
Outdoor/Indoor Activities
Story Time

We believe the environment should be aesthetically pleasing and stimulating. It should be planned in a manner to provide choices, quiet and active spaces and should respond to the developmental and individual needs of children.

Parent Involvement

Parents/Guardians are welcome to come and observe or help at any time. We encourage family involvement. Your child needs to know that you are interested in what is happening at the center and the staff value your input.

If you wish to discuss your child or any aspect of our program, we invite and strongly recommend that you periodically make appointments with us. We will be happy to answer questions, discuss problems and share information with you.
